EASTER CRAFT POST PART 2!

If you've been following the blog for a while, it will be no secret to you that I am "crafts mad" ...as a hatter :-)

So naturally for Easter, I like to go ALL OUT! Easter styling to me oozes joy like no other seasonal style, the pretty colours and flowers, all the symbols of new life wit bunnies, eggs, lambs and nature blooming all feel so invigorating and so positive, just what we need coming out of the dark grim winter.

Following on from the EASTER CRAFT PART 1 post and my "Cherry Blossom Easter Tree" (if you've missed it, find link at the bottom), here are five simple and easy ways ideas to decorate your Easter tables and add that explosion of joy and colours to your long weekends.

1. MAKE A STATEMENT RUNNER

Create a simple floral runner by placing some reindeer moss along the centre of the table. Add some egg decorations alongside with any other Easter ornaments you may have. An hour before you start your meal prick a few spring flowers in between.

2. LAYER UP THE CROCKERY!

Go all out! Bring out the lot! It looks great and makes everyone feel special. Layer up placemats, dining plates small plates and more if you have!

TOP TIP: Pick a colour scheme and mix match vintage and new. If they're in similar colours it will all tie in.

3. DIY BUNNY NAPKIN

Check out my little video on how to create this simple but effective little bunny napkin in a few easy folds.

4. EXHIBIT THE BAKES!

If you've slaved over that fancy homemade Easter buttercream cake with the added touch of fresh flowers on top, then display it accordingly! Pull out that gorgeous cake stand and make a scene of it! In fact do it even if you haven't baked it yourself! Use a 3-tier stand to display cookies, sit them up by using a bit of that reindeer moss. Finish it with a few more fresh flowers.

TOP TIP: If you haven't got a cake stand, turn a small planter upside down and put the plate on top!

5. EASTER CHANDELIER

create an Easter chandelier with a willow wreath hanging from your lighting pendant, simply insert some artificial and dried flowers in the grooves.

Attach different coloured ribbons to some egg decorations and hang them from the wreath at different heights.

Find the full step-by-step on my instagram.

TOP TIP: Tie a bow on top of the egg for extra cuteness

DISCLAIMER: no dogs or bunnies were harmed in the making of this post :-)
